Competition – Terms and Conditions

Promoter
The promoter is Golden Charter Limited, Aurora Building, 120 Bothwell St, Glasgow G2 7JS (“Golden Charter”). -
Eligibility
The competition is open to authorised Golden Charter Funeral Director Partners in the United Kingdom.
Entries must be made on behalf of a registered funeral business, not by individuals in a personal capacity. -
How to Enter
To enter, simply:-
Display your new Golden Charter Seal point-of-sale (POS) and/or digital assets in your business or online channels.

Post a photo or example of your display on social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn) using the hashtag #GoldenCharterPartner.

Ensure your business name is clearly visible or tagged in the post.

Competition Period
The competition opens on 17 October 2025 and closes at 11:59 pm on 30 November 2025.
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. -
Prizes
There are two prizes of £1,000 each, awarded as free marketing support provided by Golden Charter.-
Best In-Location Display: For the most visible and creative use of the Seal within business premises.

Best Digital Display: For standout use of the Seal online (e.g. website, social media, or digital marketing).

Judging and Winner Selection
Entries will be judged by a panel of Golden Charter representatives.
The judges will consider creativity, visibility, and alignment with Golden Charter brand guidelines.
The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. -
Notification and Prize Fulfilment
Winners will be contacted via their social media post or registered business contact details by 15 December 2025.
Marketing support will be arranged directly with each winner and must be used by 30 June 2026, unless otherwise agreed. -
Publicity
By entering, you agree that Golden Charter may use your business name, entry photos, and associated materials for promotional purposes (including online and in print), without additional compensation. -
Liability
Golden Charter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or not received due to any technical issue.
By participating, entrants confirm they have permission to share any images or materials used in their entry. -
General
Golden Charter reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or extend the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
